There has been much discussed in the news this week with regards to the Irish governments decision to back all savings in the country’s six banks. As you are aware, the Post Office Instant Saver is run by the Bank of Ireland which has led to increased interest in this saving account. Under Irish law the Post Office is not permitted to promote this decision. Visit the Post Office website for more information on their services, including the Instant Saver Account, provided by the Bank of Ireland.
