The following is a sample of what is covered:

Clutches: - All the retail policies cover the following clutch components. The driven plate, pressure plate, release bearing & clutch fork, Additionally, the Premier & Platinum warranties cover the clutch cable and the hydraulics. Some companies cover only the Clutch pedal itself.

Catalytic Converter: Platinum policies cover catalytic converters.

All of the polices cover cam belt failure, so long as there is proof that the manufacturers replacement recommendations have been complied with, and they are free from oil contamination.

Air Conditioning: The level of air conditioning cover varies with the type of policy and it is worth noting that all the policies we sell to the public cover air conditioning & climate control components.

Consequential Losses: If a minor but insured part fails, and the consequence of that failure is that other parts are damaged, the policy covers the repair costs of all the damage caused by the failure of the insured part.

It should be noted that the level of cover does not decrease as the mileage increases, nor does the excess fee vary with the size of the repair - it is fixed at £25.
